* CLASS DESCRIPTION
In this class, students will learn how Picasso was not concerned with upsetting the narrative themes set out by the Romantic and Impressionist eras but as a Modernist genius he focused his educated and creative mind on reinventing the pictorial plane.

Students will be taken through Picasso's earliest experimental works, and then explained will be his most profound and experimental eras like the Blue and Rose Periods, Primitivism, Cubism, Neoclassicalism and Metamorphosis.Metamorphosis.

* ABOUT THE ARTIST
The Spanish painter and sculptor Pablo Picasso (Málaga, 1881-1973) stands out for his important contribution to the creation and development of Cubism. In addition, he  is considered one of the most influential artists of the twentieth century, currently being a model of inspiration for many painters. Picasso painted more than two thousand works  that today can be seen in different museums in Europe and around the world. Not only was he dedicated to painting, but also to engraving, drawing, book illustration, sculpture, ceramics and theater costumes.
