ART FILMS * MAY 2014

LITTLE ASHES * Beautiful, tragic and historical film about the young life and loves of artist Salvador Dalí, filmmaker Luis Buñuel and writer Federico García Lorca.

Great photography, script and historical references. Clearly an interesting point in history and of interest to art lovers but also to culture vultures :)

SOROLLA EXHIBIT * PAINTINGS ABOUT JAVEA * OPENS TO RAVE REVIEWS IN ALICANTE

According to the MUBAG blog (Fine Arts Museum of Alicante) the Sorolla exhibit is a big hit!

This exhibition is important because it represents the Marina Alta area.

Sorolla and his family spent their vacations in Javea - as do many millions of tourists. He found it full of life, light, grapes and raisins, water wheels, sun, surf and sea. His art works help us all to imagine Javea at the turn of the century.

Is anyone interested in taking a class trip to see the works of Sorolla's Javea - and then lunch?

CELEBRATING 400 YEARS OF EL GRECO IN TOLEDO

ATTENTION EL GRECO STUDENTS AND FANS
Over a hundred works by El Greco are now gathered in Toledo to make the largest exhibition ever held - by this artist. More than 60 works will arrive from 29 different cities of the world. This exhibit runs until 14th of June. Who is up for a field trip to Toledo?
