Did you know that there are currently 77 species (27 damselflies; 50 dragonflies; 35 genera) of "las libélulas" recorded in mainland Spain, including the Balearic Islands? They are a rare sighting and I was lucky enough to have one come model for me. Make note of its deep, rich bronze colour - incredible!
