In PART ONE of this lecture and slideshow presentation, participants will journey through the city’s Roman foundations, its rich Arab infusion, and the distinctive Visigothic counterpoints, before arriving at its early Christian roots.

Together, we will explore some of the most remarkable architecture and enduring monuments still standing today, structures that speak quietly yet powerfully of centuries of cultural exchange and layered histories.
